We are looking for a Senior Researcher to strengthen our taxation research group
The main role of the senior researcher is to contribute to the institute’s research on taxation, aiming for high-quality journal publications and policy impact. The work also includes developing the research agenda of the research area, dissemination of research results to a broader audience, and other analysis and expert work to support the preparation and assessment of public policies in the candidate’s area of expertise. We prefer an applicant with a strong focus on topics related to the taxation of multinational corporations and business subsidies.

A successful candidate
• has completed a doctoral degree in economics
• has published scientific articles in the field of taxation
• has previous experience in disseminating research results to a broader audience such as policy makers
• is able to work independently and in a target-oriented manner
• is expected to develop their own long-term research agenda and become an active member of the research group.
A successful candidate is highly proficient in written and spoken Finnish and English.
We consider as an advantage:
• research focus and academic publications in topics covering the taxation of multinational corporations and business subsidies.
