A doctoral degree in relevant field is required. The degree must have been completed within the last five years (or within ten years in special circumstances). Candidates who have been granted permission for their doctoral defense by the application deadline are also eligible. The role is open to both early-career and experienced researchers, including those already working within the research institute. The selected candidate’s experience will influence salary determination.

The Department of Navigation and Positioning (FGI-NAVI) conducts innovative research to discover novel navigation and positioning solutions, such as new localization algorithms and the adaptation of new positioning sensors.
