The required qualifications for the Deputy Director position include a Masters degree, teaching qualifications in accordance with the Government Decree on European Schooling Helsinki (15/2008), sufficient work experience as a teacher, and adequate knowledge of educational administration and school management, sufficient experience in leadership in education relevant to the position. Excellent command of written and spoken Finnish and adequate communication skills in the languages of the other language sections of the European School are required.

We are seeking a professional who is interested in the development of pedagogy, education and learning support with strong pedagogical expertise, a solid understanding of the community-based student welfare work and various forms of learning support as well as experience in school management and pedagogical leadership within a multicultural and multilingual school.
