At the beginning of January 2018, the innovation funding providers Tekes and Finpro – which offered internationalization, investment and tourism promotion services – merged to form Business Finland. In structural terms, Business Finland split into an agency (the innovation funding center, Business Finland) and a company (Business Finland Oy). In our practical work, we act across organizational boundaries as a single Business Finland.

Our organization employs 760 specialists at 37 foreign locations and 16 offices in Finland. Business Finland is a public-sector operator and part of the Team Finland network.
