The Research Council of Finland is a government agency within the administrative branch of the Finnish Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. We fund high-quality scientific research, provide expertise in science and science policy and strengthen the position of science and research.
We promote excellent, responsible and high-impact research across all scientific disciplines. We work to contribute to the renewal, diversification and increasing internationalisation of Finnish research.
Working at the Academy of Finland means that you will be keeping track of the latest scientific developments and collaborating with leading science professionals both in Finland and abroad. Academy staff cooperate closely with universities, research institutes, business companies and national and international funding agencies.
